in protecting critical infrastructure and personnel across the globe. Our founders are former intelligence
officers who are passionate about using technology to improve the
counter-terrorism know-how and capabilities of law enforcement and security personnel.
We are searching for a new member of our development team who has solid
experience in agile engineering practices and is passionate about
developing a critically needed application. This individual will join a dynamic group
of engineers in implementing the next-generation features of TrapWire,
our flagship product.
Candidates must have
- a BA or BS degree,
- proof of US citizenship, and
- five (5) or more years of experience with web application development
Candidates should have substantial experience with most of the following:
- Development in C# and ASP.NET
- Test-driven development with NUnit
- Incremental design/refactoring
- Client-side development with Javascript, CSS, and HTML
- Continuous integration tools
- SQL Server
- Pair programming
- Automated functional testing

Analyst/Tester

Abraxas Applications develops advanced counter-terrorism tools for use
by people all over the world. Our founders are former intelligence
officers who are passionate about using technology to improve the
counter-terrorism know-how of security personnel.
We are searching for an agile team member with analytical and testing
skills. This individual will work with our Director of Engineering to
plan and prioritize upcoming work, flesh out user stories for each
iteration, communicate detailed requirements to the rest of the team,
and participate in the ongoing effort to define next-generation
product capabilities. During each development iteration, this
individual will also work with team members to create, maintain, and
run automated functional, regression, and performance tests.
Candidates must have
- a BA or BS degree,
- proof of US citizenship, and
- five (5) or more years of experience with requirements analysis of IT solutions.
Candidates should have substantial experience with most of the following:
- Working on an agile team for 2+ years
- Building high performing teams
- Facilitating requirements gathering sessions or conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions
- Telling user stories
- Developing user requirements from high-level ideas
- Conducting retrospectives
- Writing test cases and test scenarios using manual methods and automated testing tools
- Designing user acceptance testing sessions including writing user acceptance tests
- Executing functional, regression, performance tests
- Analyzing software test results and recommending a resulting course of action
