Dhiren Barot


Dhiren Barot, an Al Qaeda operative, cased and produced detailed documentation on the:

• Prudential Financial Center in New Jersey;
• "CitiGroup Headquarters and the New York Stock Exchange in New York; and
• IMF and World Bank facilities in Washington, DC

During the process he amassed hundreds of photographs of the targets, details of the security measures at each facility and suggested ways of defeating them; the types of badges worn by employees and even the lanyards from which they hung; and detailed dossiers on individual security guards.
