The Intelligence Analysis for Law Enforcement course is a three-day program designed to provide basic instruction in available data sources, intelligence collection, analysis and dissemination. The program includes classroom instruction, discussions related to target and operational analysis, and interactive practical exercises requiring students to analyze subtle and conflicting information. Students are then required to prepare a managerial briefing based on their analytical judgments and conclusions. This course meets the standards for analytical training set forth in the National Criminal Intelligence Sharing Plan and the training requirements of the International Association of Law Enforcement Intelligence Analysts (IALEIA).
